Smoky Hills Public Television is excited to announce Down Home Country- Live in Branson, debuts on Smoky Hills Public Television Saturday May 1 at 9:00pm.  This Smoky Hills production is a classic country series with legends such as Mel Tillis, The Oak Ridge Boys, Moe Bandy, Wanda Jackson, Penny Gilley and many more.  Episodes are broadcast every Saturday at 9:00pm with an encore performance scheduled for Sundays at 6:30pm.

This musical variety series features quality classic country music, variety and great conversation with some of the biggest names in Classic Country Music. Season One joins public television with quality entertainment straight from Branson, Missouri, home to over 35 major music entertainment theatres.

Each program in the series features Branson Entertainer of the Year, Dalena Ditto as the series host. Each episode includes one major Classic Country entertainer who performs and another who discusses their personal interests with Dalena in a sit down interview. In addition to major performers, each show spotlights a popular Branson entertainer.

The initial season of Down Home Country-Live In Branson consists of 10 programs which are twenty-eight minutes in length. Down Home Country-Live In Branson includes great classic country music with a dose of patriotism -- wholesome entertainment for the entire family!
