Local Programs

Along with the great national programming found on Smoky Hills Public Television, we are proud to present outstanding local programming as well. From our arts, public affairs, sports and historical programs, we believe telling the stories of Kansas helps fulfill our mission of enriching the lives of Kansans, and we believe it is one of the most important things we do.

The following is a list of local programs currently running or available for purchase:

	Miss Southwest Kansas Pageant 2010 Ulysses, KS hosts this annual pageant where a group of young women compete for the crown and a shot at the Miss Kansas title in June. Thursday, March 4, 8:00pm

	Scoreboard Show Highlights and scores from high school sports throughout central and western Kansas.
	Doctors On Call Kansas doctors and healthcare professionals answer medical questions in this call-in program. Live Tuesdays at 7:00pm Repeat Sundays at 3:30pm
	Placing Out: The Orphan Trains Documentary on the "The Orphan Train Ere" -- when more than 200,000 destitute children were relocated to the Midwest. order
	Stories From The Dustbowl This program takes a look back at the "dirty '30s." order
	Bombers On the Praire: The B-29 in Kansas Tells the World War II-era story of the B-29 and the airbases located in Walker, Great Bend, Salina and Pratt. order
	The Cathedral Concert 2009 Holiday concert taped at the beautiful St. Fidelis Catholic Church in Victoria. order
